On Saturday we will hold our first brevet ride of the year.  This ride is entitled, "Kennetcook - South Maitland".  This ride will depart from Graham's Grove in Dartmouth at 8AM.  Scheduled distance is 200km.

We will ride out the Waverley Road to Beaverbank Road, then north up Beaverbank Road to Kennetcook and Noel, then to South Maitland and Brookfield and Shubenacadie and back in through Enfield and Waverley.

As this is a brevet ride, please let me know by Thursday May 6th if you plan to attend so that I can prepare brevet cards and route sheets for you.  You will stop at four checkpoints along the route and get your brevet card witnessed and the time recorded.  If you want, you can also request a medal to commemorate your brevet completion, these are presented at the AGM next winter.

If you plan to do this ride, please let me know as well, so that I can prepare a route sheet for you.
