New Ride Schedule is available

We had a good turnout at our Annual General Meeting last Sunday, and presented the proposed 2011 Ride Schedule.  The schedule is now on our website under "resources".

As discussed at the meeting, recent news from the Audax Club Parisien in France (organizers of the Paris-Brest-Paris 1200 this August) indicates that they have expanded the maximum number of participants for PBP to 6000 persons, and have issued a quota to Canada for 130 riders.  So if there are any riders who aspire to ride PBP this August, you will be able to pre-register for the ride if you completed brevets last year, up until the Canadian quota is filled.  There is a good chance if you completed a 300k last year that you would be able to get in - if you are interested, contact me for info.

Our membership dues remain unchanged from last year and the membership application form is now available on our website under "resources".

Only nine weeks until the first ride of the year!  Keep up that indoor training, those rides on the mag trainer or those spin classes, and get out there and do some snowshoeing or some XC skiing and be ready for another great season of long rides in the Nova Scotia countryside!
