Hi all - Welcome to Spring!  sort of...

Our first scheduled club ride of the season will take place on Saturday March 29th.  This ride is entitled, Lucasville - Fall River.

It's an easy ride which will be held at a moderate pace, as some members haven't been out much this snowy winter.

The link to the map is

With ridewithgps, you can print off a cue sheet for the ride - or print off a map - or download into your Garmin device.

The ride will assemble at the Armdale Roundabout to depart at 10AM.  We'll head out the Kearney Lake Road then head through Blue Mountain Estates to the new road through Kingswood North to Lucasville.  Then we'll make our way through Millwood to Beaverbank Road. then on to Fall River and the Waverley Road back to Halifax.  Plan for a coffee stop.

Currently the forecast is for sunny and +11c, but do bring your fenders as I would expect some snow-melt on the roads and it's polite to wear fenders on a group ride.

For those who haven't yet signed up for our Facebook group, feel free to join it - there's a lot of activity there.

For those who haven't paid their 2014 membership dues yet, please print off the membership application and bring it along with you.

Hope to see a good group on Saturday!
