Hi folks – this Saturday we have a fairly easy 100km ride in Hants County.
This ride is entitled, “Walton – Cheverie”. Link to the route is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/16539275
The ride will assemble at the parking lot at the intersection of Routes 1 and 101 at The Crossroads at Garland’s Crossing, just before Windsor. Take Exit 5 off Hwy 101 and park near the farmer’s market and sports bar. Departure time is 10AM.
We’ll ride to Brooklyn and Scotch Village and onward to Walton on the Walton Woods Road. We’ll then head along the spectacular coastline past Cheverie to Summerville, with a lunch stop at the Flying Apron Cookery, one of Nova Scotia’s hidden gems. We’ll then roll along through the various Burlington’s (Lower, Centre, and Upper) and onward back to Newport Station and Garland’s Crossing again.
