OK, so the silly season is now over, no more dynamo lights and reflective stuff – as we slide toward autumn, we return to some more rational distance rides.
This Saturday our club ride is entitled, “Camperdown – LaHave”. Link to the route is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/6791572
This ride will assemble to depart from Mahone Bay’s waterfront parking area at 10am.
We’ll head up to Blockhouse and the back road into Bridgewater, on our way to Conquerall Mills and Camperdown – a very pretty Lunenburg County backroad. We then head south to Vogler’s Cove, Broad Cove, and Petite Riviere on our way to a lunch stop at the LaHave Bakery. After carbo-loading, we cross on the ferry and return to Mahone Bay via backroads – yes, some of us were there last weekend but it’s different in the other direction!
Expect a post ride libation at the SaltBox Brewery too.
