This coming weekend we have an interesting ride, starting and ending in Annapolis Royal.
This ride is entitled, “Acadian Shores 300”. Start time is 0800 hrs. Your ride leader is Micheline McWhirter.
We will assemble in the parking lot of the Annapolis Market on Drury Lane – the market will be open Saturday so please park at the western end of the lot away, from the market hubbub.

If you plan to attend this ride, please let me know. As mentioned in a previous email, participants are encouraged to stay in Annapolis area overnight Saturday night as it will be late when we finish the ride.
Our route takes us to Yarmouth and back. We depart south from Annapolis on Route 8 to scenic Bear River, then follow the shoreline to Weymouth. We then cut inland on Route 340 through Corberrie to Tusket and into Yarmouth. From there, we follow the scenic coastal road through Sandford to Port Maitland then follow Route 1 through the “Acadian Shore” through Mavillette, Meteghan, Saulnierville, and Church Point back to Weymouth – where we nip inland to Sissiboo Falls and North Range to rejoin Route 1 near Digby. Route 1 takes us along the spectacular coastline of Digby Gut, past Cornwallis and Clementsport back into Annapolis.
