Hi folks – OK, so we have a brief reprieve in our silly season brevet schedule this week, with a short ride on Saturday that doesn’t involve lights or controles or caffeine pills.
This ride is entitled, “Vaughan – New Ross”. Link to the route is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/26522792 or with Garmin Connect at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/19008570
We’ll meet in Chester, at the parking lot of the Independent Grocery Store, at the corner of Route 3 and Duke Street. Please park vehicles at the extremity of the parking area so as not to inconvenience the business. Departure time will be a leisurely 10AM.
We’ll head up Route 14 to Vaughan, then west through New Russell to New Ross. We then head south on Route 12 to Chester Basin and back to Chester again.
Plan for a post ride lunch at the Fo’c’sle Tavern, Nova Scotia’s oldest pub. Stories will be swapped and lies will be told.
