Hi folks, well, this is the last scheduled club ride of the 2019 season – although we will continue to do impromptu weekend rides (weather permitting) into late November/early December.
This Saturday we have a ride around the Chezzetcook area. This one is similar to one we did last fall except in the opposite direction! The ride is entitled, “Montague – Chezzetcook”. Link to the ride is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/26632337
The ride will assemble at Graham’s Grove to depart at 10:00 Saturday. Distance will be ~75km.
We’ll head out the Waverley Road to Montague Road then ride backroads past the Prestons to Lake Echo, and onward to Porter’s Lake and Bellefontaine Road on the way to a coffee stop at the Rose and Rooster cafe. We’ll continue on past Three Fathom Harbour and Lawrencetown Beach on our way to check out the newly-opened separated bike lanes along the Forest Hills Parkway on our way back into Dartmouth. I would safely predict a stop at the Brightwood Brewery on downtown Portland Street after the ride for lies and libations.
Currently the weather forecast is looking solid for a nice day on Saturday, so expect to see a good crowd on the last scheduled ride of the year.Attachments area
