ride on Saturday October 19th

Hi folks, this Saturday we have a spectacular ride in the autumn’s deciduous glory on the South Shore.  This area of the South Shore has a great abundance of hardwood trees and a lot of maples, so the fall colours should be wonderful.

This ride will assemble at the waterfront parking lot across from the churches in Mahone Bay.  Plan to ride at 10am.  Scheduled distance is 107km.
We’ll head up the Cornwall Road to Barss Corner and on to New Germany.  We continue down the Lower Branch Road through New Canada and Branch LaHave to Bridgewater then on to West LaHave to the LaHave Bakery for a bite of lunch.  After crossing on the ferry, we ride past Lunenburg along the coastline through Mader’s Cove on the way back to Mahone Bay.
