Even though this is an easy ride near Metro, it’s a good idea to get in the habit, as our rides will soon begin to explore new terrain away from the city.
We will assemble at the Armdale Roundabout to depart at 10AM. We’ll head out Route 3 to Hubley then north through Hammonds Plains to Kingswood, travelling down Gatehouse Run to the Lucasville Road thence to Lower Sackville and Windgate Drive to Waverley and into Dartmouth via the Waverley Road. We’ll end in Dartmouth for either coffee or beer somewhere.
Bicycle Nova Scotia announced a change in insurance providers last month just as I went out of province – there will shortly be a revised membership application form available reflecting the new rates, up slightly from last year. Stay tuned for details.
