Hi folks – well, this Saturday we have our first Century ride (100 miles = 161km) of the season.
This ride is entitled, “Tantallon-Rawdon Century”. Link to the route is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/11593454
Departure location is NOT at the Armdale Roundabout – it is at the START OF THE COLTA TRAIL at the intersection of Bayer’s Road and Joseph Howe Drive by the Shopper’s Drug Mart.
Scheduled departure time is 9AM.
We’re heading out the Chain Of Lakes Trail to the BLIP, then rejoining the St Margaret’s Bay Road by the coke plant and riding to Tantallon, then to Hammonds Plains to Lucasville Road, then out Route 1 to Mount Uniacke and Lakelands, then north to the Gores and Nine Mile River to Enfield then back in past Laurie Park to Waverley and Bedford and back to the start again. Simple, right? Only if you show up at the correct starting place…
Cross all opposable digits for good weather this Saturday, we’re about due for a nice day, maybe.
