upcoming rides in August

Hi folks, we have a couple of upcoming rides in August, here are some details.
This Saturday August 10th, we have a ride entitled, “Peggy’s Early”.
As the name would imply, it’s a ride around the Peggy’s Cove loop, leaving early Saturday morning at 7AM to beat the tourist traffic.

Plan for an apres-ride visit to Good Robot Brewing on Robie Street for lies and libations.
And a couple of weeks later, on Saturday August 24th, we have a century ride scheduled, called the Clam Harbour Century.

This ride will depart from Graham’s Grove at 9AM and head around the scenic Clam Harbour loop, just past Musquodoboit Harbour, after an early morning ride past Lawrencetown Beach.  Great way to beat the heat.  Personally, I’ll still be in France recovering from PBP by drinking red wine, so I won’t be there but I expect there will be a good turnout nonetheless.
